In the early 1990s, a young man at the start of his career participated in one of TRIPLE A’s first Presentation Skills courses. He left the company where he was then employed and built an impressive career. From time to time from the different jobs he held, he would call us to say he needed various services or consultation we could provide for himself or his staff.
He was clearly satisfied with what he got since when he became CEO of a medium-sized, international Danish company he called us. ‘We need to get things moving in one direction. People from UK, France, Germany, USA, Australia, from all our subisdiaries, need to feel they are working for one company. It is a fine balance between encouraging local initiative and unique skills and looking through corporate glasses. There is not enough corporate thinking at this point. Firstly, TRIPLE A played a major role in writing and formulating a company 'Bible', Vision/Mission statement, what is our culture, what are our values? This was not a work to be left on the shelf but to be used everyday to create a new, integrated approach to daily business.
Secondly, we cooperated with the CEO in planning and implementing a four day kick-off meeting, attended by about 35 top executives from all over the world. The goals were to launch the new ‘Bible,’ to bring people together through various team-building and communication activities and to offer a considerable dollop of socialising so that the integration process would have real meaning.
The process we launched was ongoing and we were hands-on involved with the company for over two years. Over the period, there were different team-building events and motivational courses attended by participants. There was individual coaching, there were group courses to help people improve their Presentation Skills.

We had carried out various tasks in a major international Danish company including individual coaching in English, multicultural group meeting facilitation and communication-skills coaching in English. Training was introduced at a corporate level for senior and middle management, with a view to strengthening the links between the various subsidiaries in Europe. The working language was English.
We had established an atmosphere of trust within the company for the work we had already carried out, so we planned and implemented a number of residential courses for both European and non-European senior and middle management. The main goals were to improve their communication skillsand build teams, while at the same time encouraging knowledge sharing and inter-subsidiary problem solving. Our previous experience within the company enabled us to structure exercises and activities based on job-relevant material.
